Elm Springs is a city in the Washington and the Benton counties of Arkansas, between the Springfield Plateau and Boston Mountains. It is to the west of Springdale. According to the US Census Bureau, the city covers 15.52 square kilometers.

Elm Springs is home to 1,535 people divided into 439 families. The population density is 106.9 people per square kilometer. The population divides into 87.4% White, 1.2% Black and the rest of other races. The average family size is 3.21 and average family income is $45,536. The per capita income is $17,551 and only 12.5% of the population is below the poverty line.

The city got its name Elm Springs as a result of the several elm trees close to the springs. The springs are on the Water Avenue. The water flow here was so powerful that later the Government established a water mill here.

The city has a rich history and is among the oldest cities in Northwest Arkansas. The earliest settlers of this area were the Thomas McClain family. Elm Springs has a post office established early in 1848 and a number of old buildings. People who are into history love this city.

The tourists have been interested in this place over the years due to the recreational parks for the tourists to relax with their friends and family. These parks are good places to enjoy good food and wine.

The climate of this region is hot and humid summers with around 221 sunny days in a year. The July high is 33 degrees. This makes using air conditioner necessary for the folks living in this town.
