The neighboring cities of Cave Springs are Bentonville, 8 miles to the north, 6 miles to the east is Lowell, Fayetteville, 16 miles to the south, and 5 miles to the west is the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport. The city covers 18 square kilometers, according to the US Census Bureau.

The population of Cave Springs is 1,729. The population density of the region is 96.9 people per square mile. The racial makeup of Cave Springs is 89.9% White, 1.3% Native American, 0.9% Black and the rest from other races. The average family size is 2.94. Cave Springs has attracted many tourists over the years. It is a tourist attraction because of Lake Keith, a small water basin, located in the middle of the city. It is home to the rare cavefish. Fishing now is banned in Cave Springs because of the endangered species. There are other tourist attractions here as well, such as the Old Spanish Treasure Cave and the Cave Springs City Park.

The education in Cave Springs is served by two school districts, the Bentonville School District and the Rogers School District. The major one is the Bentonville District. Bart Hester, who is the member of Arkansas State Senate, is a resident of Cave Springs.
